What do the various application statuses mean? (citizens)

• Submitted: Your application has been successfully submitted. 
• Viewed: Your application has been reviewed by the Clerk to Council.
• In consideration: You are being considered for the position.
• Deferred: Council has decided not to make any appointments to the position at this time. Your application will remain on file should that change.
• Declined: Unfortunately, the entity has chosen not to appoint you to this position. However, don’t lose hope; you can still apply to other positions. You may also use the chat to ask the Clerk to Council for advice on how to improve your application next time. 
• Withdrawn: The applicant has opted to withdraw their application and would no longer like to be considered for the position.
