If the quick apply button does not appear for you when you view the details of a board, that means applications are not being accepted for the board at this time. That can be for one of two reasons.
- Citizens are only able to apply for positions that are vacant, will become vacant in the next 90 days, or have a member whose term is currently expired. If the board does not have any current or upcoming vacancies or expired terms, you will not be able to submit an application.
- Some entities may choose not to have an open application process for a particular board or commission. This may be the case if the board requires highly specialized members or if members are required to be recommended by outside organizations. If you are interested in an “invite-only” board, we recommend you use the chat feature to contact the Clerk to Council.
