When an application is submitted, the application status will show as “applied.” Once an entity’s administrative user opens the application, the status will automatically change to “viewed.” This was instituted based on feedback from citizens.
However, any subsequent status changes will not be automatic. The clerk will need to select a status from the drop-down menu on the right-hand side of an application if they would like to let the citizen know they are being considered for a position, that appointments have been deferred, or that the entity will not be moving forward with their appointment.
