What is the difference between “current applications” and “previous applications”? (clerk)

MatchBoard divides the applications displayed under the “applicants” subtabs in the “boards” sections into current and previous applications.

If you have a rolling application process, applications older than one year will be in the “previous applications” area. Applications submitted within the past year will be displayed in the “current applications” area.

If you use application windows, applications submitted during the current application cycle will display in the “current applications” area. All applications submitted during previous application cycles will be displayed in the “previous applications” area. 

You may still update the statuses and make appointments from the previous applications.
