Your eligibility to reapply to a board or commission largely depends on when your local government accepts applications. To determine when applications are reviewed, look at the “review periods” for the board you are interested in.
If the review period says “rolling,” you may reapply one year after you first applied. For example, if you apply to the Zoning Board on April 1st, you will be able to reapply on April 1st of the following year.
If the review period lists specific months, you may only apply to boards and commissions during those periods. You may apply to each board once per cycle. For example, if you submit an application for the Planning Commission with review periods of January-February and July-August in January, you may not reapply to the Planning Commission until the next application cycle begins in July.
